Do you have a quick, one-off question about editing or proofreading? Not sure if you should be using a bulleted list of a numbered list? Wondering if that serial comma is appropriate? Buy me a cuppa, and I’ll give you the answer!
While tea is definitely my fuel of choice, payments made through Ko-fi will not just go towards an endless supply of cuppas. Each payment will get me a step closer to my goal of becoming an accredited editor through the accreditation scheme offered by Australia’s Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd).
Every two years, IPEd offers an accreditation exam for editors, testing their professional skills and knowledge. Those who pass this test become accredited editors, or AEs. In order to maintain their accredited status, AEs must commit themselves to furthering their professional development, and must renew their accreditation every five years.
I am committed to being the best editor I can be, to constantly honing my skills and learning the best way to edit and proofread and develop the written word. By answering your questions, I can do just that...and for the cost of a cup of tea, you can help me.
